The walls she have built

Will come tumbling down one day

And believe me,

It won’t be too bad

When she’ll see

That someone can finally look in

At who she really is,

And love her for that.

He will then build new wall around them,

So no one will be able to steal his life,

Entrapped within her.

  3. This one’s relatable , don’t you think however just a question now that she’s within those walls and she’s comfortable with the fact that she’s going to be like that and maybe she’d always feel he might do something that might force her back to being confined in those 4 walls and this time in a much worse condition than before?
Unless he’s absolutely magical of course
Because I’m the – leave me in my shell don’t bother kind of person most of the time :p

    1. Well this is not a complete poem as I have removed few starting lines. Because a friend of mine suggested to do so.

” She had her heart broken way too many times,
So she build the walls around her heart.
But, there is someone who would preserve and mend it, as now it’s attached to him.
      The walls she have built
Will come tumbling down one day ”

This the original draft I had written.
I guess now you will get your answer.

  4. I’m not heart broken even once so far , Mine is a different story
But yeah for the walls to go down it must take her getting attached to someone but then if I tell you this as the case would be with me –
It’d always be a question : whether or not letting him in was right
Whether or not getting attached is right
And every once in a she’d may be push him away or try to build the walls back

You know the guy will have such s hard time he has to make her believe every now and then he won’t go ,he won’t break her heart, she can trust him and
Hide brick and cement for that matter much easier .lol just kidding
    So yeah.
But It’d be such a nice love story anyway.
Because love isn’t supposed to be a easy , smooth road to travel. 🙂

    1. He must be patient enough to wait for her until she can trust him.
Or he should hide bricks and cement.lol

  7. A delightful treat to my eyes. Plain yet thoughtful. 🙂
Walls are important to be built. But what is more important is between and around whom these should be built. 🙂
