Detonators blowing
Every now and then
Causing tender ears of kids to bleed
Mines are placed,
Roads blocked
People being checked.
Harassed and stripped.

Feeble cries
Lost in the roar of the deafening blasts.
Roads soaked in blood.
But you’re busy greasing your muscles.
Celebrating your “victory”
Naming your massacre a defeat of the enemy.

Killing thousands in the name of nation or religion.
To claim it is more peaceful!?
Both mere concepts.
manmade.
Now killing men.

The human race has gone mad.
Earth becoming a living hell.
In name of peace, people are being chopped into pieces.
For the love of religion, hatred is being perpetuated
In name of the nation, innocent soldiers are being killed.

When the real troublemakers stay away from the war zone.
Living a life of luxury.
Poors pay for their deeds,

Die fighting their war.

  4. So so strong. A direct hit to such an important topic. Lovely. How worthless is war? Literally well said with the last line. ‘ we die fighting their war…’

  5. Very powerful! I can’t even comprehend how they must feel.

I do not actually understand religious wars?? If you don’t agree – just respect each other for the passion.

Territory I could see maybe? That’s a little deeper, but level heads should always prevail over pain and injury to others or innocence.

That must be horrific and terrifying though!!

I suppose we adapt to the conditions we are placed in and what is in our lives.

    Very powerful post!

  6. Why do we need a zone of war.
Question that comes in my mind everytime.
Zone of peace we all will be happy with isn’t it ?

    1. Because every nation on the earth has a trust deficit with others, rationally so. And most of the nations have a bad past, this makes it inevitable to have such zones. And it’s okay to be prepared for defence, but it’s necessary that any conflict whatsoever if happens need to de-escalate. Problem is the warmongering people.

  22. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very
hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual
appearance. I must say you have done a awesome
job with this. Also, the blog loads super fast for me on Opera.
    Excellent Blog!
