Just another dying rose?

Yesterday I felt like I was falling from a ladder,
breaking all the rungs,
only to land on the ground
that would disintegrate beneath me at any moment,
I felt like I’d sink into the earth
and the soft damp soil would fill my lungs. 

Thankfully, I am still on solid ground.
I don’t think how long I’ll survive it,
Even if I,
Will I find the strength to go back to the place where I was?

Or am I going to be a rose in the garden of your life,
To whom you loved once,
whose fragrance you can still remember,
But once fallen on the ground by flocks of second thoughts,
I’ll be lying on the ground to decay before being forgotten.
