Namita’s birthday is in next week. And I know what she loves the most … books, of course. She is a totally a bookworm. Like me. She’s the perfect example of what people call ‘my type’. She is like walking-talking GoodReads recommendation list.

She literally has a collection of books that can be termed as ‘library’…
So, It’s clear that I’m going to give her a book as a birthday present, but it’s hard to decide which one.

Thank god .. I remembered her talking recently that she hasn’t read “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” yet.

So, I headed right toward the bookshop, got the book from one of the shelves and when I come to cash counter .. “hi” said Max who was standing there with the same book in his hand.

And I was like “Please tell me that you are not buying this book to gift Namita”

“What? why? This is for her birthday … any problem this ?” he said nervously staring at me and then at the book.

Well, at end of our this encounter, he bought a different book, and I was the one who’s gonna present that book to Namita.

Hey Diary .. I am going to share one more secret,
Max… He was looking damn cute today, he is brilliant with words, he was looking too cute that I wanted to pack him up and take him home .. and hug him endlessly .. But of course Namita wouldn’t like it .. hihi .. I shouldn’t think such things about my bestie’s to-be-boyfriend, right?
